To be admitted to any of the undergraduate programs, you must:
Students applying to AOU must submit an official application form at the Student Affairs office and attach the following documents:
- Certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent.
- Copy of the Individual Information Record, copy of the Identity Card or copy of the Passport.
- Three (3) recent passport size, colored photos.
- Application fee
For non-Lebanese students, additional documents are required:
- Residency Permit (if applicable).
- Residency Certificate (issued by the mayor)
- Employment Certificate (if applicable)
- Proof of funding
- Equivalence of the Lebanese Baccalaureate by the Lebanese Ministry of Higher Education.
Placement Tests
All students are required to sit for an English placement test.
Students applying to join the Faculty of Computer Studies are required to sit for an additional math test.
Students applying to join the faculty of Education studies are required to sit for an additional arabic test.
The test results do not affect admission decision, but help place the student at the appropriate language and computer level.
To be admitted to any of the Master's programs, you must:

- Application Form
- Equivalence of the Bachelor’s degree by the Lebanese Ministry of Higher Education.
- Official Transcripts
- Work Resume (CV)
- TOFEL/IELTS Test Scores for MSc applicants
- A copy of the Identity card or Passport
- Three (3) recent passport size, colored photos
- Application fee
Placement Tests
Applicants are required to sit for an English placement test. The test results do not affect the admission decision but help place the candidate at the appropriate language level.
N.B applicants with an evidence of a minimum score of 7.0 for IELTS, or 600 on the paper based TOEFL, 250 for the TOEFL CBT or 100 for the internet based TOEFL will be exempted from the English placement test (for the test scores to be valid they should have been obtained within the past 2 years)
