Overview

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Economics -not offered to new students​

The economics track aims at improving the students' proficiency in the field of economic analysis and at strengthening their understanding of economic changes in addition to appreciating their influence on the business sector. It also aims to develop the students' ability to describe and evaluate the economic behavior of households, businesses and markets.

Career Opportunities

Business Administration graduates in the field of Economics have a broad range of job opportunities in financial institutions, government, NGOs (non-government organizations), banks, and in private Lebanese or regional enterprises.​​

About Program

​Programme Duration

The minimum number of semesters for a Bachelor degree is six regular semesters and one summer (three academic years).

The maximum number of semesters for a Bachelor degree is twenty-four semesters (twelve academic years) excluding summers.​


Method of Delivery

The method of teaching for all faculty of business studies' programmes is full time teaching/ blended learning.

Lectures' attendance is mandatory at least once a week (or twice for some courses) for each registered course. Tutorials are offered from 8:00am to 9:00pm and can be scheduled into 1 or 2 days per week to accommodate working students.​

Payment Details

New and continuing students have the option to pay their tutition fees in installments following an installment plan.

Refunds in case of withdrawal from ​​courses

During the “Add and Drop" period announced in the university calendar, you may withdraw or add some courses within the study plan in a way that does not conflict with the minimum or maximum required registration load.

The Financial procedure for withdrawing courses is as follows:​
