Green Graduation Initiative – Let’s Plant the Future!

As part of the green graduation initiatives at the Arab Open University, and in partnership with the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI), we’re inviting our graduates to be rooting their success in the most meaningful way possible — by giving back to nature. 

🗓 Sunday, April 27, 2025

📍 Sannine–Mtein site

🌲 We’ll be planting 350 Cedar trees in honor of our 16th graduating class leaving a living legacy in Lebanon’s mountains.

🚌 Program:

• 8:30 AM: Bus departure from Beirut Center heading to Antelias Center. 

• 10:30 AM: Arrival – breakfast & briefing. 

• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Tree planting. 

• 12:15 PM – 1:15 PM: Hike & enjoy nature. 

• 1:30 PM: Departure

• 2:00 PM: Restaurant Lunch together 

🎒 What to bring:

• Refillable water bottle 💧

• Hiking clothes & shoes 👟

• Light jacket & hat 🧥🧢

• Sunscreen & sunglasses 🕶

• Your great vibes and smile

This special day is fully covered, with lunch thanks to the support of our Office of Alumni Relations!
