Data Science (DS)
Data Science has been hailed as the topmost profession 21st Century. Therefore, FCS adopted
DS pathway because data has a massive exponential increase, and so, it is considered as the
fuel that drives industries. Now Big Data has revolutionized companies and has given them an
edge in competition. Data Science pathway enables students to handle, manage, analyse and
understand trends in data, which is a requirement of profession in reputable companies.

Data Science graduates have a broad range of career opportunities as Data analyst, Data engineer, Data scientist, Machine learning engineer, Applications architect, Enterprise architect, Data architect, Business Intelligence (BI), developer, Statistician,

Programme Duration
The minimum number of semesters for a Bachelor degree is six regular semesters and one summer (3.5 academic years).
The maximum number of semesters for a Bachelor degree is twenty-four semesters (twelve academic years) excluding summers.
Method of Delivery
The method of teaching for all faculty of Computer studies' programmes is full time teaching/ blended learning.
Lectures' attendance is mandatory at least once a week (or twice for some courses) for each registered course. Tutorials are offered from 8:00am to 9:00pm and can be scheduled into 1 or 2 days per week to accommodate working students.

Payment Details |
New and continuing students have the option to pay their tutition fees in installments following an installment plan.
Refunds in case of withdrawal from courses
During the “Add and Drop" period announced in the university calendar, you may withdraw or add some courses within the study plan in a way that does not conflict with the minimum or maximum required registration load.
The Financial procedure for withdrawing courses is as follows:
