Measures for the Advancement of Women
The Arab Open University – Lebanon is committed to advancing the role of women in leadership and economic development.
- The Arab Open University – Lebanon participated in the LLWB “Women on Board” Program in collaboration with the UK Embassy and LLWB. AOU underwent a gender audit, hosted multiple sessions on gender governance, and participated in the national “Women on Boards” conference.
- The University led the Capacity Building Program for Women affected by the war. The second workshop was specialized in enhancing their managerial and entrepreneurship skills in order to impact largely on the social and community environment.
