The Arab Open University is keen on enhancing the quality of its staff and therefore encourages tutors’ academic and research activities that would meaningfully contribute to the quality of the teaching and learning environment. AOU supports all meriting research work that would contribute towards the staff development be it through funding projects or conferences or supporting tutors towards attaining Ph.D in a joint endeavor with international Universities. To this end, the AOU Research and Development Committee is instrumental in flagging research and developmental proposals.
