The Faculty of Education at the Arab Open University was established with the university's inception in 2002. Since then, the faculty has aimed to qualify and prepare students to acquire the competencies and skills needed in teaching and scientific research, with instruction offered in both Arabic and English.

The faculty offers a range of study programs at the bachelor and postgraduate levels:

1.   Bachelor in Elementary Education 

2.  Postgraduate Teaching Diploma in Education

Training is also a top priority for the faculty, which provides various training programs that serve the local community in fields such as learning disabilities, autism, gifted education, daycare management, and modern training methods. These programs contribute to community empowerment, reinforce the faculty's role in social development, and support the advancement of specialized educational skills.​
