Due to the global spread in the modern world of information tech- nologies in all spheres of life and issue of verifying the authenticity of a person or information data is very acute, steganographic meth- ods help to solve the issues of stable authentication, against illegal copying, tracking the movement of information over open communi- cation networks and so on. One of the steganographic methods is using LSB(Least Signicant Bit). The LSB algorithm is considered quite popular, it helps to successfully hide key information inside the container without deformation and distortion. The practical impor- tance of the study lies in the development of a software tool which is suitable for use in any image media les that makes it possible to study the main properties of digital images, which must be relied upon when choosing digital images as a container when developing quilted- resistant systems. Scientic and practical signicance lies in the fact that the results of the work can be used for the development and practical application of steganographic systems with high durability.
