Dani Aoun, holds a Bachelor's in
Business Administration from Lebanese University and a Master's in Finance from
the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK). In 2007, he earned his Ph.D. in
Economics from Seoul National University (SNU), South Korea, on a full
scholarship.
Dani began his career as a
Financial Analyst at the Ministry of Telecommunications in Beirut,
collaborating with KPMG and HSBC. He transitioned to academia in 2008, joining
the Arab Open University (AOU) in Beirut. He has served as Associate Professor,
Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, and Head of the Business Faculty, among
other roles, focusing on academic strategy and program development.
He has taught courses such as
Principles of Economics and Corporate Finance and published research on
economic sustainability and microfinance institutions. Dani has also led
workshops on financial performance and entrepreneurship, earning certifications
from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
