Teaching Diploma in Education - General

Introduction

The General Teaching Diploma in Education aims to qualify students who hold a bachelor’s degree in a teaching specialization and train them in teaching competencies so they can teach their specialized subject (Mathematics, Sciences, Languages, Social Sciences such as History, Geography, and Physical Education – Law – Sociology) at the secondary level.

The program includes 30 credit hours and serves as in-service training for teachers working in this field, helping them update their pedagogical knowledge and qualifying them to become educational leaders in the future.

Programme Duration

The minimum number of semesters for a Teaching Diploma in Education is two regular semesters (one academic year) .

The maximum number of semesters for a Teaching Diploma in Education is four semesters (two academic years).

Method of Delivery

The program is delivered in a blended learning method, and students should attend 25% of the face to face classes, and communicate and interact with tutors via the Learning Management System using the varied tools.

Basis of acceptance:

To be eligible for registration, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. The accepted specializations are :

Social Studies (Sociology, History, Geography, Civil Education, and Law)
Arabic Language
English language
Mathematics
Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry)
