Teaching Diploma in Physical Education and Sports

Introduction

The Teaching Diploma in Physical Education and Sports aims to prepare physical education teachers for different educational stages. This program covers various teaching sciences such as education, teaching methods, evaluation, and psychology, and allows students to teach physical education in both the primary and secondary stages, in addition to acting as the Academic Coordinator for all educational stages

The program includes 30 credit hours and serves as in-service training for teachers working in this field, helping them update their pedagogical knowledge and qualifying them to become educational leaders in the future.

Programme Duration

The minimum number of semesters for a Teaching Diploma in Education is two regular semesters (one academic year) .

The maximum number of semesters for a Teaching Diploma in Education is four semesters (two academic years).

Method of Delivery

The program is delivered in a blended learning method, and students should attend 25% of the face to face classes, and communicate and interact with tutors via the Learning Management System using the varied tools.

Basis of acceptance:

To be eligible for registration, applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Sport from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
